Clint Eastwood's Dirty Harry Xbox360 Game...

It seems like things are still stagnant as far as the promised Dirty Harry PS3 and Xbox360 games are concerned. The game was announced back in 2005 by Warner Bros Interactive and was going to be based firmly on the Dirty Harry films. 2 years later it was in the hands of Silent Hill Homecoming developer and was then announced as canned!
Warner did announce that they were still going to release the game under another developer.
We can only still hope that the game will eventually reach the stores, as far as I have heard, the gamers are still crying out for this game, especially with Clint's direct involvement, such as the voice.
Luckily we still also have the original advance game trailer (which is GREAT!) and cleverly uses lines from the original films
'Is that tan ford.....' from Dirty Harry
'I am the Police' from Magnum Force
and
'Yeeeah' from The Enforcer
It's great to also hear the fantastic original score from Lalo Schifrin which really brings the trailer together nicely..Check it out Below.

COME ON GUYS, lets get this game out there and cooking!

Clint Eastwood Hand Prints

Yep, they have you for life Clint!
Seems like you can't go anywhere today without having to leave your mark!
Below are a few examples:
Firstly, where it all began, Mann's Chinese Theatre, Hollywood. Date August 21st 1984 'You made my Day' was of course a nod to Sudden Impact, Clint's Dirty Harry film on release at the time.

Above: I recently discovered this original press still on the web which was also taken at Mann's Chinese Theatre during this event.

Feb 25th 2007: Ennio Morricone's Oscar Night presented by Clint

It was a special night that reunited both Clint and Composer Ennio Morricone, Clint of course starred in the dollar trilogy of the 1960's which were scored by Morricone. Clint introduced a film montage while music director William Ross played a medley of themes that included Days of Heaven; The Good, the Bad and the Ugly; The Mission; Investigation of a Citizen Above Suspicion; Bugsy; Malena; and The Untouchables.

Celine Dion then took the stage to perform "I Knew I Loved You," based on a theme from Once Upon a Time in America, with new lyrics by Alan and Marilyn Bergman. Morricone watched while seated in a box near the stage along with Quincy Jones (who recently contributed a track to the new Sony Classical tribute album We All Love Ennio Morricone).

Morricone bowed graciously in accepting the Oscar to a standing ovation. His only English words were "thank you very much," after which he launched into a speech in Italian that Clint translated for the audience. The 81-year-old composer of more than 400 film and TV scores was uncharacteristically emotional as he thanked the Academy; spoke of his gratitude to the many directors who had demonstrated their faith in his abilities; promised to continue to write music with the same level of dedication and passion he has always had; and with Oscar held high dedicated the award to his wife Maria.

Gran Torino 2008

Gran Torino is a 2008 American drama film directed by, produced by, and starring Clint Eastwood. It is the highest-grossing movie of Eastwood's career. The film features a predominantly Hmong cast, as well as Eastwood's younger son, Scott Eastwood. Eastwood's older son, Kyle Eastwood, provided the score. The film opened to theaters in a limited release in North America on December 12, 2008, and later to a wide release on January 9, 2009.

Here's a nice selection of stills from Gran Torino which marks Clint's return to the Big screen since Million Dollar Baby in 2004.

Jazz Singer Jamie Cullum features on the Gran Torino soundtrack, singing with Clint no less, on the wonderful title track. Here is a great shot that was taken of Clint backstage at a Cullum show on the 21st September 2008, possibly during the post production stages of Gran Torino? Which begs the question; Was this the first meeting that lead to Cullum becoming involved with the project? A great photo nonetheless, thanks to the original photographer for sharing it on the web.
