Gran Torino 2008

Gran Torino is a 2008 American drama film directed by, produced by, and starring Clint Eastwood. It is the highest-grossing movie of Eastwood's career. The film features a predominantly Hmong cast, as well as Eastwood's younger son, Scott Eastwood. Eastwood's older son, Kyle Eastwood, provided the score. The film opened to theaters in a limited release in North America on December 12, 2008, and later to a wide release on January 9, 2009.

Jazz Singer Jamie Cullum features on the Gran Torino soundtrack, singing with Clint no less, on the wonderful title track. Here is a great shot that was taken of Clint backstage at a Cullum show on the 21st September 2008, possibly during the post production stages of Gran Torino? Which begs the question; Was this the first meeting that lead to Cullum becoming involved with the project? A great photo nonetheless, thanks to the original photographer for sharing it on the web.
