Golfing in Kezar stadium! For our March Photo Opportunity, I’ve chosen this great shot of Clint practising his golf swing while on location filming for Dirty Harry. Kezar stadium was where Harry finally apprehended the film’s antagonist, Scorpio – where he worked as the caretaker at the stadium and lived under the grandstand.

1971 was quite the year, especially in terms of Kezar’s history. The San Francisco 49ers played the final NFL game at Kezar in early 1971 before their move to Candlestick Park. Months after the 49ers' departure, several scenes from Dirty Harry were filmed in and above the stadium. With pending demolition, the bleacher planks of Kezar Stadium were sold off to fans at a party in April 1989. In the June, the stadium was demolished and rebuilt with a much smaller seating capacity of 10,000.
