Roy Leonard Radio Interview with Clint Eastwood Oct 18th 1971
Roy Leonard (January 19, 1931 – September 4, 2014) was an American radio personality, best known for hosting WGN's midday radio show from Chicago for 31 years and for his appearances on WGN-TV's news and Christmas specials.
Leonard died on September 4th, 2014 at a hospital in Evanston, Illinois from complications from an infection, aged 83.

On October 18th 1971, Clint visited Roy at the WGN radio station to talk about his latest movie Play Misty for Me and a little film that he had just made called Dirty Harry. Thankfully the interview was saved. I have also included 2 great photos here Clint with Roy Leonard (top) and a photo of Clint which is believed to have been taken backstage during the same visit (below).
My thanks to the people that helped put this together - Jonathan Downes, David Vernall-Downes and Steve Saragossi.
