The Mule Trailer

So here we are already with Clint back in front of the camera as well as behind it. First impressions among some friends are generally positive and it’s great seeing Clint still looking well. It’s a nice tease – with some great touches of humour and a glimpse at some dramatic action. I would still like to know who is scoring the film. Did anyone else pick up on the trailer music? It sounds very much like Clint on the piano and if my ears are still in tune, it sounds very much like the motif used for A Perfect World. This of course could just be a temp track exclusive for the trailer.
So, enjoy this brief preview of what is to come later in the year  .

Wowwww !!! That new opus looks a terrific one, and what a joy to see again Eastwood playing in a movie he made , 10 years after "Gran Torrino". Concerning the music, there is a subtle link with "Hereafter", for which the composer Eastwood borrowed an excerpt from the 2nd movement of Rachmaninov's 2nd piano concerto. In this trailer, unlike the trailer of "American Sniper", it seems that the music is already that of the film (in any case, it sounds Eastwood), and we recognize the 9 notes, played on the piano, of the most famous variation from the the same Rachmaninov's Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini . Obviously, Clint loves Sergeï …

I have not read any comments from a journalist to point out that with this film, Eastwood would achieve the record of the oldest actor-director of all time ... unless you have in mind someone who would have achieved this feat beyond 88 years old?
